If you were stoked about Mike Wallace joining Baltimore and decided to go out and purchase his jersey, you have my condolences.
You are also going to need to purchase a new jersey because No. 12 now belongs to Michael Campanaro.
Speaking of Campanaro, his former jersey number now belongs to backup quarterback Ryan Mallet, who formerly wore No. 7.
A total of 14 players on the Ravens roster changed their numbers before the Ravens take on the Buffalo Bills this Sunday. Surely, this may stir up some confusion. Don’t worry, I’m here to clear up all of your confusion.
Here are the players who changed their jersey numbers:
Kyle Arrington

Of the 14 players who changed their numbers, six of them are cornerbacks.
Mike Wallace changed his number to 17, which makes sense because he was playing his best football when he wore that number with Pittsburgh.
Devin Hester, Sr. and David Fales were recently added to the Ravens roster. That’s why they don’t have any “former” numbers with the team.
Speaking of which, Hester decided to add “Sr.” to the back of his jersey upon joining the team, following the footsteps of Steve Smith, Sr., who made this same addition to the back of his jersey when he joined Baltimore in 2014.
Backup quarterback Ryan Mallett hopped on to the opportunity to grab his No. 15 back after teammate Michael Campanero gave it up to wear No. 12.
On a final note, if you’re a little confused come this Sunday, you’re in good company.
