Ravens to wear all-purple uniforms for ‘color rush’ game against the Browns

Nike has really outdone themselves this time.

On November 10, Baltimore will be sporting a new all-purple ‘color rush’ jersey when the Ravens take on the Cleveland Browns at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. Based off the reactions from social media, it sounds like a lot of Ravens players dig the new look.

“I think it looks good, it’s a solid color,” said Ravens linebacker C.J. Mosley. “I’m pretty sure guys are going to make some cleats and stuff to look good. It’ll be an exciting game.”

Contrary to what Baltimore usually wears, the Ravens will have purple jerseys with gold numbers instead of white. The pants will be purple with gold stripes.

“There are not many times the Ravens get to change up their uniform,” Mosley said. “Anything different, we’ll take it – besides the gold pants, which nobody liked. Though I think if we would have won in the gold pants, it would’ve been a different story.”

Due to brown-purple color contrast, the Browns have decided to not wear their all-brown ‘color rush’ jerseys against the Ravens. Instead, Cleveland will be wearing all white when they take on Baltimore.

The new jersey can be purchased in online team store.
