BALTIMORE — Jason Newman (17 points) and Travis Henson (16 points) powered Potomac past Middleburg (Va.) in the Baltimore City Public School Basketball Academy at the Talmadge Hill Field House at Morgan State University on Friday, 77-47.
Potomac (7-1) led 30-21 at halftime and used a 17-5 run to open the second half to take a 47-26 lead with under four minutes left in the third quarter.
The win is the sixth in a row for the Wolverines, who have emerged as one of the favorites in the Class 3A South.
Ryle Burley added 12 for Potomac and Corey Dyches chipped in with 11 points.
