Georgetown (10-8) 72, UCONN 69
NOTES: L.J. Peak scored 16 of his 21 points in the second half and Georgetown overcame a 14-point deficit for a three-point win over former Big East rival Connecticut on Saturday. Jesse Govan had 15 points and Rodney Pryor 14 for the Hoyas.
Towson 74, Northeastern 67
NOTES: Arnaud William Adala Moto made 12 of 13 free throws and finished with 24 points and 7 rebounds, John Davis added 16 points, and Towson hung on for a 74-67 win over Northeastern on Saturday. Eddie Keith II added 10 points and four rebounds off the bench for the Tigers (10-9, 2-4 Colonial Athletic), who ended the Huskies’ eight-game winning streak and gave them their first conference loss. Towson led 39-29 at halftime and maintained that advantage for the first 15 minutes of the second half, leading 64-54 with 4:31 remaining.
Army 53, American 49
NOTES: Sa’eed Nelson scored 13 points for American (4-13, 1-5 Patriot League), who nearly clawed back from a nine-point halftime deficit. Mark Gasperini added 12 points and Jalen Rhea 11 after hitting 3 of 6 from behind the 3-point arc.
Navy 88, Lafayette 51
NOTES: Bryce Dulin made 5 of 6 3-pointers and scored a career-best 23 points to help Navy cruise by Lafayette on Saturday. Navy (8-10, 3-3 Patriot League) made 7 of 11 3-pointers by intermission and had a 17-point lead for its largest first-half margin against a Division I opponent this season. It was Navy’s most points scored against a DI opponent since Nov. 24, 2010 against Towson. Hasan Abdullah added 15 points and Tom Lacey finished with 13 for Navy, which has won its last three conference games by at least 10 points for the first time since the 1999-00 season. The Mids had a season-high 13 steals, with four by Abdullah, and shot 60.3 percent overall from the floor.
Mount St. Mary’s 78, St. Francis 72
NOTES: Elijah Long totaled 17 points, eight rebounds and five assists, Greg Alexander made four 3s and finished with 16 points, and Mount St. Mary’s overcame a 15-point first-half deficit to beat St. Francis (PA) on Saturday. Miles Wilson and Mawdo Sallah each tallied 13 points for the Mountaineers (7-12, 5-1 NEC), who recorded five players in double figures. Chris Wray had 10 points. St. Francis led 35-20 with 4:25 left in the first half, but Mount St. Mary’s ended on a 12-1 run to trail 36-32 at halftime. The Mountaineers took the lead for good when Sallah hit a jumper and layup for a 58-54 lead with 9:37 remaining.
Howard 74, MD-Eastern Shore 66
NOTES: Bakari Copeland led Maryland-Eastern Shore (4-14, 1-2) with 19 points and 10 rebounds. After trailing by 18 points in the second half, the Hawks (4-14, 1-2) closed to 64-60 with 3:56 left. They never got closer.
Coppin State 75, North Carolina A&T State 73 — Overtime
NOTES: Chas Brown scored 18 points, including the winning tip-in, to lift Coppin State to a two-point overtime victory over North Carolina A&T on Saturday. Tied at 73 with three seconds left, Coppin State’s Keith Shivers missed a 3-pointer but Brown got to the board for the tip-in. Austin Williams missed a 3-pointer at the other end as time expired and Coppin State (4-15, 3-1 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) got its first back-to-back wins of the season. Brown was 7 of 13 from the field and finished with 10 rebounds. Dejuan Clayton added 15 points, Terry Harris Jr. had 14 and Joshua Treadwell 11.

Wizards 109, 76ers 93
NOTES: John Wall scored 25 points to lead the Washington Wizards to a 16-point win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night. Wall, who also had seven rebounds and seven assists, and the Wizards outscored the 76ers 30-15 in the third quarter to take an 86-71 lead. Philadelphia had a 13-point lead in the first half, but the Wizards outscored the 76ers 24-11 to conclude the second quarter to tie the game at halftime, 56-56. The Wizards have won 11 straight at home, their longest home winning streak since a 15-game run from Feb. 9-Apr. 7, 1989.
