GERMANTOWN — The Maryland Sports Access high school football preseason tour continued on Saturday as we visited Northwest High School to watch the Wise Pumas in a quad scrimmage against Northwest, Old Mill and Sherwood.
Wise is coming off its second straight 14-0 championship season when they pummeled Quince Orchard in the 4A state title game, 42-7. The Pumas retains 12 starters for 2017, six on both sides of the ball. Running back John “MooMoo” Oliver returns in the backfield and Florida State commit, receiver and defensive back A.J. Lytton is back i the fold as well.
