Jared Bynum racked up 13 points, five assists and three rebounds as No. 7 Georgetown Prep defeated Interscholastic Athletic Conference rival No. 16 Bullis on Thursday, 63-53.

DeJean Desire scored seven of his nine points in the first quarter to put the Little Hoyas (10-3) ahead after one quarter, 18-11, before both teams struggled to score in the second frame, mustering five points apiece.

Mount St. Mary’s signee Vado Morse scored all of his nine points in the third quarter to help keep Bullis (10-5) within striking distance into the fourth, 42-35. But George Washington-bound wing Mezzie Offurum (seven rebounds) slammed the door with six of his eight points in the final frame, preserving the victory for Georgetown Prep.

Kamdyn Curfman and Columbia commit Ike Nweke added 12 and 10 points for the Little Hoyas, respectively. Nendah Tarke paced Bullis with 13 points and six rebounds.
